Zargos is a family run business, based in West Wales and Shiraz in Iran. We have both formal Persian carpets and nomadic tribal rugs.

Our carpets are directly imported, selected from the bazaars and tribal weavers. We operate a fair trade policy and as far as possible deal with the source. No child labour is used.

Nomadic carpets include Qashqai, Lori, Bakhtiyari, Bownat, and Khamseh. These are Fars carpets from the Zagros mountains, located between Shiraz and Isfahan. They are hand knotted wool, and the dyes are mostly natural.

Traditional Persians include; Kirman, Kashan, Nain, Yazd, Tabriz, Heriz, Mashad etc. We endeavour to provide a comprehensive selection of both small and large sizes.
